so on our treks today cathy and i took out the trash we had collected. since we had more today than yesterday we couldn't just sneak it into the kitchen garbage. the way muskoka woods is set up they have 1,000 acres, most of this land is not built on and is across highway 141 from the main camp. [highway 141 isn't a highway as we think of it, it's more like m-22 up north.] anyway there is an underpass that we take the ranger on to get to the other side of the highway. as i'm driving the ranger through the underpass cathy is telling me that in teh winter it's ok to take the trash out by myself but come spring i need to take someone with me because of bears. yes folks apparently i am that far north. i'm in bear country. right now they are all hibernating but i'm told that they have been known to walk right up to the office if they want. i didn't realize it but it does make sense i've seen a couple of moose crossing signs when i go into bracebridge.
since i have to work this saturday it looks like i'm gonna get thursday off. which is nice i jsut wish that i already had my bank account open so i could have a canadian debit card. i'm afraid to use my fifth third card because i don't want to get slammed with charges and fees for using it internationally. i'll just have to check out huntsville and parry sound some other time.
i'm gonna post some pictures of one of the vip guest accomodations that i cleaned today.
